I’m guessing just because it’s new? I have looked for tutorials but they are mostly too old. But I still don’t see my Wireless connection. However, I can’t connect to the internet through it. Linux is basically working but with some sore spots — including the wireless LAN. If it is not in the man pages or the how-to’s this is the place! I am willing to try NDISWrapper but am hesitant because somebody with the same card and jini-card as 1935 tried it and it didn’t work precisely the reason why I’m here. I would try booting to a live linux CD to see if it works in linux.

I installed Linux completely on an external drive to keep Linux and XP completely isolated. Validate you don’t have loaded or built into the kernel the Linux community provided driver for Broadcom hardware.
